This is a simple C library for working with the raw data in uncompressed WAV files. There are many better libraries for dealing with WAV files than this one. I wrote this to do some experimenting, and it's probably not the solution you're looking for.

Thérémine is an audio program which reads realtime pitch and volume data from an USB Arduino Theremin, and generates high quality audio signal emulating a realistic instrument. It was originally designed to work with an Open.Theremin.UNO shield (see http://www.gaudi.ch/OpenTheremin), although it should work with other Arduino devices as long as you provide an appropriate program. Thérémine can play a variety of different tones. It comes with another program, Loop bank manager, whose purpose is to extract stationnary, looping samples from recorded wave files. It allows importing new instrumental tones into Thérémine, as long as the source recording contains reasonable data. Two demo sample banks are provided with Thérémine featuring violin and voice tones. Both were made using Loop bank manager.

Timecode is a library for analysing timecode vinyls. After submitting samples, it returns commands like speed, direction and position for any media player which supports this library. It is written in operating system independent c++ code.

Transana is a cross-platform tool for the transcription and qualitative analysis of audio and video data. It also provides the ability to identify and organize analytically interesting portions of videos, as well as attach keywords to those video clips.

ViGiL is supposed to be a platform-independent tool for singing students. In it's final version it should be able to analyze a voice recording (read from audio file or microphone) and compare it to a given score according to melody, rhythm and dynamics.

The basic function is to allow the user to take notes while watching a computer video file. The program combines a video playback window and a very simple text editor. Visore is a software project for the sound restoration of vinyl (gramophone) records. Visore filters the noise caused by scratches, dust and degradation and amplifies the sound where necessary.

This is a program to store data calculated from the tempo of a song into different degrees of seconds for use with "programming synths". Written in C++ with Visual C++ Express. Java version coming soon.
