Clonezilla is a partition and disk imaging/cloning program similar to True Image®. It saves and restores only used blocks in hard drive. Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and Clonezilla SE (Server Edition).

Greenstone is a complete digital library creation, management and distribution package created and distributed by the New Zealand Digital Library Project. There are two major versions of the software. Greenstone 3 is under active development, and is recommended for download. We also provide maintenance releases for its forerunner, Greenstone 2. BackupPC is a high-performance, enterprise-grade backup system for backing up Linux, WinXX PCs, Macs and laptops to a server's disk. Features include clever pooling of identical files, no client-side software, and a powerful Apache/CGI user interface.

Generic SCSI target subsystem for Linux SCST allows creation of sophisticated storage devices. It includes generic SCSI target core with SCSI target drivers and backend handlers. There are target drivers for iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SRP, SAS, FCoE, etc.

Syncmin is a Webmin module, which synchronizes files between two systems. To optimize the speed of processing, rsync synchronization technology is used, which only copies file differences.

SystemImager is software that makes the installation of Linux to masses of similar machines relatively easy. It makes software distribution, configuration, and operating system updates easy, and can also be used for content distribution.

Tool for copy partitions to another HDD. FreeBSD stores its data on partitions, which incapsulated in slices. Soft, such as Partition Magic, Acronis, etc. detect only slice, not real partitions on that slice. CloneHDD correctly understand size diference.

Archmbox is a simple email archiver written in perl; it parses one or more mailboxes and performs specific actions.

This project has a lively SVN repository for build recipes, over 1000 F/OSS softwares are available. The tool "pkgbuild" is for building packages on Solaris 11/OpenIndiana from RPM-like spec files. The tool also runs on OmniOS. If you want, you can create new style IPS packages and old style SVR4 packages for Solaris 10. The tool is not updated frequently, but the following "build recipes" for pkgbuild is updated every day. For a few hundred build-recipes see the sub-project "spec-files-extra" or "SFE". We already have stacks of e.g. multimedia players mplyer/vlc or postfix/dovecot/cyrus-sasl/spamfiltering. But there is so much more to be added! Volunteers to the build-recipes are always welcome. CD Backup and Burning Utils for Unix (Linux) A set of Utilities which provides a simple, yet powerful and versatile way to burn CD Media from the unix command line. Including CD backups and restores. Uses only standard utils (cdrecord, mkisofs, perl)

Track added/deleted files from a system by using 'find'. Installwatch can be used to detect modifications and make backups of modified/deleted files. Can remove, list, or make a tarball of a package, among other things.

Renames files in a proper English title format: prepositions, conjunctions, and articles (<5 letters) are in lowercase unless they are the first or last word in the title; all others begin with uppercase. Can use id3v2 to tag mp3s using info in filename.

A very simple file compressor written in Perl. Compresses dirs to self-extractable exe. Uses UHARC and RAR utilities.

AVD is a continuation of the swim project. The goal is to create a suitable SQL server from swim's not-installed DB, and to maintain the swim client. AVD will be used as a gBootRoot method.

Alist is a program that collects hardware and software information about systems and stores it in a database for users to browse and search via a Web interface. The program consists of three parts: a client portion that collects the information, a daemon
