nxtvepg is a decoder and browser for Nextview EPG - a subscription-free electronic TV program guide in the analog domain. Up to ~2012, Nextview was broadcasted in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Belgium and France and covered all major TV networks. I love and regularly use the CEWE Photobook Software to create a tangible, real live version of my digital holiday pictures. This same software is used by a variety of 50+ photobook vendors in Germany and Switzerland. Still, I was always annoyed about its lacking ability to export the book created as JPEG files or PDF, just to have a easy-to-share digital version. As the software saves the book as in a proprietary XML format, I took matters in my own hands, reverse engineered it and created an simple java application that provides that missing functionality. ... -

This project is the beginning of a big photo book conversion tool. Starting with ifolor (from switzerland) and output to scribus (which is a DTP application and can easily be used to create a pdf), I plan to also support other formats and support cross conversion, but for that I need YOUR INPUT (at least test files). Also other output formats are possible, but I didn't find a better format in the open source world than scribus yet. -
