    NxtVR
The Vis3r NxtVR headset is an open source, OpenXR and OpenHMD compliant, motion tracking VR headset that you can build yourself for under €80 - designed to be printed on almost any home 3D printer, with simple and easy to assemble hardware components that are aimed at the complete novice. The headset comes in two distinct versions, both based around an STM32 development board, a cheap and easily available screen, and a headset that you can 3D print yourself. One uses the ever popular 6DoF MPU 6050, whilst the other uses the more recently released 9DoF BMX055 sensor board. As both the sensor boards and STM32 are very inexpensive, their combination offers one of the most cost effective and powerful hardware combinations available for a VR Headset. Full OpenXR and OpenHMD compliance means that the Vis3r Headset will plug straight into Steam, along with pretty much anything else that offers a VR interface.

    Q*Bot 3D Printer

    Q*Bot 3D Printer

    Q*Bot 3D Printer Repository

After a couple of years that I follow 3D printer growth, I picked up all the best solutions, as magnetic joints and prismatic linear guides, and gather together in this project. A complete 3D Delta Printer that can be built with about 200 euro (with electronics and graphical display, hotend and motors excluded). Printable area: 200mm dia and 200mm height Q*Bot is based on commercial Aluminum "L" profile, 25x25x4, which work as structure and linear guides as well. It's steady, fast and easy to build. Here you can find related files, including Bill of Materials, CAD drawings and all 3D printing objects needed. It's intended to be an open project: who wishes to collaborate with ideas and improvements, is welcome! Discussion and other details here: http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?362,479919

    Relativty

    Relativty

An open source VR headset with SteamVR supports for $200

Relativty is not a consumer product. We made Relativty in my bedroom with a soldering iron and a 3D printer and we expect you to do the same, build it yourself. We started Relativty because after watching Sword Art Online we wanted to make our own VR games. Thus Relativty supports SteamVR games and can be modified to add support for any DIY or off-the-shelf VR device. The room-scaling AI can be used with any camera, it tracks your body based on video input. Precision and freedom of movement are still very far from dedicated sensors, however, we believe that the model can be trained and improved by orders of magnitude. We designed an affordable motherboard that runs the Relativty Firmware, it is based on the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 processor and uses an MPU-6050 as it’s IMU. The naked PCB and the components to solder on, cost in total about 25 dollars.

    Wood Wars 3D

    Wood Wars 3D

Open-Source, 3D Printed, Light, Tabletop Strategy War Game

Check the wiki for rules and more information. Wood Wars 3D is an Open-Source, 3D printed, highly accessable, light, tabletop strategy war game based on classic war games like Little Wars by H. G. Wells. Mix and match race and classes to customize your armies. Dodge and move around terrain to confront your opponent and launch devastating marble roll attacks against approaching opponents. The source code for this project isn't like others on Sourceforge. It isn't code, It's STLs and image files. It's output sits in a box on your shelf. In other words this isn't a programming project.
