its finally here! this release greatly improves upon the last release with various bug fixes and speed improvements. new docs have also been added to the docs section.
regex support, syntax error recovery, more stable rcpt system, improved monitor-test interface and more! be sure to read the README and changelogs (final keyword syntax has changed!) before migrating your old rulesets over. enjoy!
there is a small bug in the monitor-test bin supplied in src/ that causes all rulesets matched against it to fail. i am jamming out a patch as soon as i am able (my dev box is shot atm). *sigh* ^^;;
after an unexpected break, 0.92 is out! this release features a more efficient rule chain, a couple of bugfixes, and a new monitor file debugger. enjoy!
there will be one more minor release using the current system for mail monitoring. this release will feature regex matching support, and a few minor rule changes. no bug reports as of yet (i am pleased, but somewhat skeptical)...
the next major release will change to a queue processing role rather than a smtp-on-the-fly. the initial reason for this was to circumvent shell mail sniffing on the system and a few other things that i thought were appropriate at the time. i am planning to use the qmailqueue patch to integrate the monitor in as seamlessly as possible.
if you downloaded the 0.91 release binary before 8pm 2002/07/10 cst, you will need to re-download it again. sorry for the inconvenience!
0.91 is now released. this revision adds an expanded ruleset as well as great improvements in stability and performance.
