Mostly a maintenance release, 0.9 adds support for Yahoo via the Yahoo web client, and support for hiding event text (useful if you just want to keep an eye on IM usage without actually recording what was said).

IMSpector is a plugin-based IM proxy with the ability to log to files and databases. Supported protocols include MSN, Jabber/XMPP, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, IRC and Gadu-gadu.

Finally IMSpector has CVS hosted on sourceforge.net. Prior to this, CVS was running on the main authors fileserver.

Hopefully within a couple of weeks we should be in a position to release IMSpector 0.4. Stuff included should be:

* Improvements to AIM support
* Postgres logging support
* Blocking of messages based on an ACL
* Loads of little fixes
