Is there any support in Vapor for 3D stereo displays? How can I get access to the cvs release (the server requested a password)? Thanks, Tom Maxwell NASA NCCS |

Hi Natalie, Vapor does not directly support general curvilinear grids. For those grids you would need to resample your data to a uniform grid. If two of three dimensions are on a uniform Cartesian grid, then vapor can visualize the data as a "layered" dataset. -Alan Natalie Happenhofer wrote: > Hi! > > I am trying to convert my data to the .vdc-format and therefore I > build the programs raw2vdf and vdfcreate. Hi! I am trying to convert my data to the .vdc-format and therefore I build the programs raw2vdf and vdfcreate. The problem is, I do not really know how to specify the coordinates for my dataset, it seems that you give the dimensions and vapor makes a regular, equidistant grid out of it, but my grid is curvilinear. How can I specify the coordinates on my own? thx a lot, NH _________________________________________________________________ Entérate todas las novedades del mundo del deporte por MSN. http://msn.foxsports.com/fslasc |

Hi! I´m trying to compile and build the raw2vdf-program on windows with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition, but I get a lot of unreferenced symbols like unreferenced symbol: "__declspec(dllimport) public: static char const * __cdecl VetsUtil::MyBase::GetErrMsg(void)" (__imp_?GetErrMsg@MyBase@VetsUtil@@SAPBDXZ)" in Funktion ""void __cdecl process_volume(class VAPoR::WaveletBlock3DBufWriter *,struct _iobuf *,unsigned int const *,double *)" (?process_volume@@YAXPAVWaveletBlock3DBufWriter@VAPoR@@PAU_iobuf@@PBIPAN@Z)". and many more. It seems to me that dlls are missing which would be build with vapor. That would mean that I cannot build the raw2vdf program without building vapor first. Is that true? thx, Natalie Happenhofer _________________________________________________________________ Entérate todas las novedades del mundo del deporte por MSN. http://msn.foxsports.com/fslasc |
