Hi! This feature is needed for 100,000 Polish torrents. https://pajakowo.blogspot.com/2026/03/collection-of-english-language-movies.html https://polskie-torrenty.eu/wyszukaj.php?q=fiona9 Every day, 200 GB data are added to polish torrents sites, using this method. Would you agree to add this option even though it would only help Poles? I think I could program this myself, but I'm not sure if I should bother if you're just going to reject it. I want to change the branch that qBittorrent uses. A lot of Poles use this client. I've attached a sample torrent file related to the issue. This torrent has a chain of redirects to a temporary URL. qBittorrent is downloading several hundred gigabytes from a temporary URL. The temporary URL has expired, and you can no longer download data from it. You need to start downloading from the first URL in the redirect chain now. Every time the temporary URL expires. A simple fix: Modify the Redirection function. If the redirect URL starts with " https://chomikuj.pl/" or "http://chomikuj.pl/", you should delete all webseeds and add a webseed that contains the string "serdox"(the first in the chain of redirects). It's just a few lines of code, but it will be a big help to Poles. What do you think about that? User-agent must be set to "qBittorrent", "Transmission", "BTWebClient" or "libtorrent/1.1". Others are rejected by the server. |

Hello, I'm trying to specify a custom boost location with no luck for now. Here is SO question: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/79701438/cmake-for-android-custom-boost-location-fails . Any help would be highly appreciated. :) |

No, it seems it never worked for me even with boost 1.70.0. It was just able to be built with cxxstd=11 (yes, it's able to be built with cxxstd=11 and is not with cxxstd=20 because this cxxstd switch works "partially". Hello, I'm trying to build using cxxstd=20 - it fails. I have found that __cplusplus is set to 199711L (it should be 202004L). I'm using b2 under Windows. I.e. calling something like: %BOOST_ROOT%\b2.exe --hash cxxstd=20 release I've tried cxxstd=11 - it did not change __cplusplus value. Any thoughts? |

I think it's ok as long as your app does not crash. I think you just built libtorrent with debug log option enabled. Just build it with this option turned off and you should be able to get rid of these log messages. i don't know anything particular about that memory location nor could find anything. it's one of the usual issues most likely, a null pointer or issue dereferencing memory or perhaps a race condition issue. You need to be able to replicate it and debug it, perhaps with a full stack trace on a debug build On Wed, May 22, 2024, 8:29 AM Mohammad Ghasemi < moh...@gm...> wrote: > PS > All exceptions are thrown at the same memory location. > > On Wed, May 22, 2024 at 5:49 PM Mohammad Ghasemi < > moh...@gm...> wrote: > > > This is an example of such an exception: > > Exception thrown at 0x760498B2 in Filminator.exe: Microsoft C++ > exception: > > boost::system::system_error at memory location 0x3C72E084. > > > > Do you know why these exceptions are thrown? > > They are logged in my output Window in Visual Studio. This is an example of such an exception: Exception thrown at 0x760498B2 in Filminator.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: boost::system::system_error at memory location 0x3C72E084. Do you know why these exceptions are thrown? They are logged in my output Window in Visual Studio. I think either libtorrent or boost logs them, because I don't do it in my code. Thank you! |

Thank you for warning me. But where I live there is no copyright law. Do you know where I can promote my app? I posted it several times at piracy subreddit. But they deleted it every time. I guess MPAA has some insiders among their moderators. you might want to change that website to not show MPAA copyright protected movies as your examples of how to use your app, you might not last even a month until you get served with a cease or desist letter from the MPAA, or worse yet, served with a lawsuit for inducing copyright infringement. I was attempting to create a torrent of my android internal storage for backup purposes. Upon deleting the torrent, all of the files in internal storage were also deleted. Is there any way to recover these files? Data recovery tools have yielded nothing. Thanks in advance |

in libtorrent-rasterbar-1.2.16 docs under save_resume_data() it says: ... Make sure to not remove_torrent() before you receive the save_resume_data_alert though. ... What happens if we don't follow this rule? Does it cause undefined behaviour? Thank you. |

I want to know if all error codes in libtorrent match those of Windows, on Windows. Specifically for the following alerts: file_error_alert torrent_error_alert session_error_alert storage_moved_failed_alert Thank you. |

In a test case I had three downloads and I knew that there was free space only for one of them. So I should have got file_error_alert for two of them. But I didn't get any. What are the possible causes and how can I fix it? In particular I want to make sure that I get an error whenever there is not enough disk space for a torrent. For that I rely on file_error_alert. Is it enough or I should also handle some other alerts? I preallocate space for my torrents. Partly because I want to get the error sooner when there is not enough space. Thank you. |

For example when there is not enough disk space a file_error_alert is posted and the torrent gets paused automatically. After disk space is freed up, the torrent gets resumed automatically but with a very long delay. How can I shorten this delay? I tried setting settings_pack::auto_manage_interval to 1 second to no avail. |
