A new version (1.0.0) of the DBE Studio Examples feature has been
released. It is available for download from the update site or as a
local archive install. This version includes a composed service example,
but the deployment and execution of this depends on an ExE workflow
engine installation which should be provided with the next Servent
version (0.3.14). Please follow the enclosed cheatsheets for more
information about the provided example services.

An all-in-one (windows) distribution of the DBE Studio 0.3.2 release is
now available for download on our SourceForge site [1]. This
distribution includes all the required features for the DBE Studio,
including Eclipse SDK, EMF, GEF, JEM and WST. The DBE Studio Examples
0.3.0 release is also included and installed with this distribution. For
installation information please refer to our install wiki page [2].

All example DBE projects have been updated with new models and service
UIs. The UIs provided are based on OpenLaszlo and can now be deployed to
our test DBE Servent which now includes the DBE Portal
(http://lamia.ced.tuc.gr/portal). In addition, each project has an
associated OpenLaszlo project where OpenLaszlo UIs can be developed.
These projects require the OpenLaslo feature 0.2.0. Guidelines for the
installation of the OpenLaszlo editor are provided on our SF web site.=20

DBE Studio 0.2.0 has been released on the DBE Studio update site and as
an archive file. All plugins have been upgraded and tested for Eclipse
SDK 3.1.2, GEF 3.1.1 and EMF 2.1.2. Read more at:

DBE Studio Examples 0.2.0 has been released as a new Eclipse feature and
is now included on the DBE Studio update site. Users can now install or
update the DBE Studio Examples feature from the Eclipse software updates
mechanism. It has also been released as an archive file. This examples
feature includes three example DBE projects (including a new 'PC
Wholesaler' example) containing BML models, BML data files, SDL models,
Service Manifest files, Java source files and UI implementations. A
'Cheat Sheet' tutorial for the PC wholesaler example has also been added

The DBE Desktop 0.0.1 has been released (see below for details).

This will be demonstrated at the WSIS conference.

Do note however, that this is the first and final release of the DBE
Desktop. Future development of Desktop functionality will be folded into
the DBE Portal.

Hi all,

The DBE Studio 0.1.4 has been released (see below for details). Big
thanks to all that made the fast turn about on both reporting and fixing
bugs!! :-)

This version will be the version that is demonstrated to the SME's at
the Birmingham and Zaragoza code camps.

Also released this time around are example services and accompanying
tutorial, included in the DBE Studio help, that demonstrate basic usage
of the DBE Studio.

Hi all,

The DBE Studio 0.1.3 has been released (see below for details). This
release contains a very important fix for users running eclipse under
the Java 1.4.x virtual machine. Those that are, are advised to install
this version and ignore previous releases. Thanks to Dave and John who
caught and quashed the bug that this release fixes. :-) Again, this
updated version will be the version that is demonstrated to the SME's at
the Tampere code camp.
