haccess beta 0.1 almost here

The finishing touches for the beta 0.1 release are being put inplace.

Work has stated on
write support

full intergration with access allowing haccess and access to run concurrently on the same database

A open office driver, bringing cross platform access database support to openoffice.

An a QT UI for databrowsing/export and analising an access dabase for faults.

CVS commits have stopped until the beta 0.1 source layout has stabalissed, this is because of the limited capabilites of CVS and the amount of file mooving and refactoring being done at the moment.

Linux support

the library now compiles with gcc and will run under linux, no DJGPP dos support planed because of namespace problems with DJGPP.

Haccess faster than access

on a full table scan and data fetch haccess internal cursor is upto 6 times quicker than access.

Simple cursor support

Haccess now has a simple table scan cursor, which can easly be made bi-directional. This was a key milestone in the object model redesign.
