Feature complete version of Vicaya, searchable offline/CDROM framework, has been released. Version 0.1.6 features content provided by the "Access to Insight" website.

http://tinyurl.com/ks3d6

Requesting all users to download and submit feedback. Developers will be happy to help convert your web application to CDROM.

Development is in-progress, join us!

Hello, Alex is back coding, and we have a few testers, so join the Vicaya gang!

We also have a new Wiki:
http://vicaya.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

And don't forget the developer's forum:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=386713

Back Burner

I've written a better Indexer (modified Lucene IndexHTML Demo). The results page is a bit more elegant, containing the page title, the URL, and a description. Currently the description is only the first several lines of the resultant file (not terribly useful). I will be looking into other (web based) tools to find more elegant solutions, perhaps merge this code into another tree if that is easy enough.

However, I am newly moved to Copenhagen, and internet resources are not convenient. My latest code is thus unavailable on this site. Sorry.
