    echoes

    echoes

Echoes is a radio spectral analysis software for SDR devices

Echoes it's a radio spectral analysis software for SDR devices, designed for meteor scattering purposes. The older releases supported only RTL-SDR devices. They are very cheap SDR based on DVB-T TV tuner dongles based on Realtek's RTL2832U chipset. Starting from 0.50 Echoes embeds SoapySDR allowing the support of many other SDRs. Echoes doesn't demodulate neither decode any human-made signal. Its main goal is to analyze and record the total power of natural signals and generate screenshots and tabular data (CSV,) output in presence of particular peaks in a selected narrow range of frequencies. Since there is no demodulation, there is no provision for audio listening, except for a notify sound when an event has been recorded. Finally, Echoes can also operate getting an audio input, thus producing audio spectra. This way, Echoes can also be used with traditional receivers.

    mshv-auto-dx-chaser

Autonomous, intelligent DX hunting engine for MSHV ham radio software

What if your radio could hunt DX the way you do? The Auto DX Chaser watches the bands with the patience of a seasoned operator. It knows P5 is worth dropping everything for. It knows to keep calling that rare African station a little longer. And when someone finally comes back to you, it locks on and never lets go—just like you wouldn't walk away from an in-progress QSO. This isn't automation. It's intuition, codified. The system pulls intelligence from RBN, PSKReporter, and DX Clusters simultaneously—but only calls stations YOUR radio can actually hear. It scores every decode using Club Log's "Most Wanted" rankings, signal quality, and what you still need. New all-time DXCC? Top priority. Already worked on this band? Skip it. Search and pounce only. Never calls CQ. Waits for the DX to appear, then pounces—exactly like you would during a DXpedition pileup. Your shack. Your radio. Your log. Just smarter hunting. By HamB0T. 73!

    VBandHack

    VBandHack

Enables the full use of the BH8DZE CW trainer on the VBand website.

This tool allows you to fully use the inexpensive BH8DZE CW trainer USB stick on the VBand website. Like me, did you buy a cheap BH8DZE USB stick on Aliexpress to connect your CW keyer and practice on the VBand website? Only to find out it doesn’t fully work — even with the 'Use mouse buttons' option enabled? Specifically, the 'dah' (right) key doesn’t function in iambic mode. That’s why I built this tool — to fix it for you! First, let me explain why the BH8DZE doesn’t work properly. This stick emulates the left and right mouse buttons when you press 'dit' and 'dah' on your CW keyer. So when you press 'dah', instead of producing the sound you need (with the option mentioned above enabled), the browser just pops up a context menu. My program works in a very straightforward way. It intercepts mouse clicks when it detects that the VBand site is open, and replaces them with keyboard presses: 'LEFT CTRL' and 'RIGHT CTRL'. And everything OK! !! Disable 'Use mouse buttons' !!

    WSJT

    WSJT

    Weak signal ham radio communication

The WSJT project implements software for amateur radio communication using state-of-the-art digital techniques. Typical applications involve "DXing" at LF, MF, HF, and VHF+ frequencies, including meteor scatter and EME ("moonbounce"). Major emphasis is placed on weak-signal techniques. Summary Program Descriptions: WSJT-X supports the communication protocols FST4, FT4, FT8, JT4, JT9, JT65, Q65, MSK144, WSPR, FST4W, and Echo, each optimized for different sorts of radio-wave propagation. MAP65 and QMAP are designed for EME at VHF and higher frequencies. MAP65 provides a panoramic, polarization-matching receiver for the Q65 and JT65. modes. QMAP works together with WSJT-X to provide a panoramic receiver for Q65 modes covering a 90 kHz sub-band. Programs WSJT and WSPR are interesting primarily for historical reasons. They are superseded by WSJT-X.

The POTA File Cleaner takes an adi file exported from logging software and removes all superfluous aid fields from each QSO record in the log while preserving the minimum adi fields necessary for POTA activator log uploads and organizes the fields for easy review if there are any issues uploading the activator log to the POTA App site. This updated version will also automatically generate an adi file for multi-park (n-fer) activations by listing all park numbers separated by a comma-separated (e.g. US-1234, US-23456,US-5669). The output adi file(s) also include the new adi fields of MY_POTA_REF, and POTA_REF for each QSO record in the log.

    MFJ-993b Web Remote

Arduino Mega 2560 + Ethernet Shield to Drive 8 Relays for MFJ-993b

Arduino Mega 2560 Code to that supports a standard Ethernet Shield . i.e. Drive Relays hence outputs to MFJ-993b. Supports Up and Down for manual L and C Tuning, Autotune On/Off, Antenna Selection 1/2 and 100ms Short /1000ms Long for Tune. Op Note 1: You may need additional power for the 5V relay board; sometimes you can power the 5V relay board from the Mega 2560 - but reset/start the device first and then connect power to the relay board. Op Note 2: You will need determine pinouts to the MFJ-993b DB9 yourself. This is easy to determine; refer to the manual at https://mfjenterprises.com/products/mfj-993b#product-manuals *Note for ESP32* See https://github.com/dl9sec/MFJ-993WWRC for working with ESP32 modules. It works very well with the MFJ-993B and is a great project! Opto-Isolators are recommended rather than FETs ! Enhancements to this may appear that include additional functionality that this project incorporates.
